Instances

Start an instance

An instance is a running process of an app. It can be started by clicking on the Start button.

You will then be redirected to the newly created instance. If you quit the instance before finishing, it will continue to work in the background (only if Close on disconnect is set to false).

List instances

All your running instances are listed in the dashboard on the right.

You can either Connect to the instance to reconnect and see the instance again, or Abort the instance to stop it. On the top of the list, an Abort all button will stop all running instances after a confirmation dialog.

Inside an instance

On an instance page, a menu is accessible by clicking on your name on the top right corner, bringing some options:

  • Terminal will show the R and/or Python output and app errors;
  • Restart will restart the app;
  • Quit will abort and close the app instance.

Security

Please note that for security reasons, the R and Python consoles are available only for administrators, whatever is set in the ppro of the app.
